Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 September 2026 · Terms & Conditions

ExitMaze is a browser game. We designed it to need as little data as possible — there are no accounts, no login, and no profiles.

What we don't collect

  • No names, emails, or passwords are stored on our servers.
  • No payment information — the game is free.
  • No personal profiles: your display name and avatar exist only for the room you're playing in and disappear when it closes.

Analytics

We use Umami, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service. It records aggregate, anonymous events — page views, game starts and finishes, shares — so we know what's fun. It does not use cookies and cannot identify you.

Advertising

The game is free because of ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time via Google Ads Settings. A Google-certified consent choice for visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland will be enabled before personalized ads run there. We never place ads over the maze or the game controls.

Local storage on your device

We save small bits on your own device (never sent as personal data): your chosen name and avatar, and your Daily Maze streak. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Children

ExitMaze is a casual game for all ages and collects no personal information, knowingly or otherwise.
